We are six European partners trying to improve the way Vocational Education and Training is carried out. This wish is based firstly on the need for a better correlation between labor market demands and the education provided to the students.
Our hope is that by conducting a series of events throughout our project and involving different people we can improve the way that new teaching methods and teaching aids are used to develop more involved, interested, documented and better prepared students.
As our project evolves and grows, this website will host most of its outcomes, so we invite you to return and find all the things that might inspire you or help you evolve, whether you are a student trying to get the best education you can or you are a teacher looking to have better classes that produce better students and finally a better prepared people on the labor market.

"Alexandru Domșa" Technical High School
"Alexandru Domșa" Technical High School is situated in Alba Iulia, the capital town with important industrial prospects of the Alba County. As a prominent Institution of education, our high school provides both academic and practical training for almost one thousand (948) students, most of them being town residents or living in the suburban areas or in the nearby villages.
Due to the educational profile of the High School, emphasis is laid on practical and theoretical education in different fields of technology, preparing students for: telecommunications, IT operators, wood-processing operators, electricians, auto-mechanics, electro-mechanics, modelers, computer assisted drawing technicians and transport operators. Activities are carried out in 25 specialized classrooms, 21 laboratories and 12 workshops, facilities equipped for the training of all students.
Diverse training programs include four classes of professional school in auto-mechanics, electro-mechanics, modelers, the rest of the classes have joined the 4-year program for the above specializations. Both academic and practical training are designed to address to students targeting employment after graduation and to the ones which aim to continue studies in institutions of higher education. As the need for qualified personnel trained not only in mechatronics but also in other technical domains, the vocational and technological education will become more desirable among students and prevent them from abandoning school and other forms of formal education, and encourage them to seek employment at the nearby businesses after graduating. Having completed education and acquired skills (either professional or social) will enhance the chance to find work and consequently avoid unemployment and social exclusion as young adults.
In September 2013, a new educational substructure was founded: The German Dual Professional Training Program, which is the result of a partnership including the Local and County Council, The Alba County School Inspectorate and representatives of six companies interested in training students for the local and European labor market. The substructure offers education and practical training for 93 students this school year, specialized in electro-mechanics and as modelers and pattern makers.
The school's Management Plan, under the authority of a local committee, makes provision for a local decision curriculum compliant to the needs of qualifications required by the labor market, and according to the options expressed by students.
Our organization has implemented a system of quality management since 2005 subscribing to the requirements of The Romanian Agency of Quality Management in the Pre University Education. The system refers to periodic monitoring (internal or land external) of :
• human and material resources institution structures (administrations and management)
• efficiency of the teaching-learning process
• contents of the learning programs
• results of the learning process (evaluation and assessment)
The regular analysis of the Quality Management Team reveals the need of professional development of the teaching staff, the updating of teaching methods used in the classroom as well as a generous diversification of teaching tools, especially those involving digital and cooperative skills.
CFLI is a Consortium constituted by two Public Bodies: (Venice and Ancona Port Authorities), One Manager, two coordinators and one tutor of the vocational courses, one chief executive of the international activities, one responsible of the accounting activities are working into the Consortium; in addition, there are twenty experts in different branches such as Maritime, Port, Airport, Logistics,
Intermodal Transportation, Road Transport, Educational and Training Methods, Technological and Simulation Systems sectors working as teachers, consultants, researchers, project managers. CFL! is certified ISO 9001 Quality System regularly renewed following the European and National Rules. CFI-I's main aims are the following: as operational organization of the both Port Authorities, CFLI develops innovation and training activities in Logistics, International and Intermodal Transportations, by creating networks among the Secondary Schools, the Universities, Employees and Employers Associations of the up mentioned fields. The main scopes are: introducing into the sectors young people searching working places, supporting the young people to obtain the international certifications to cover a professional figures into the maritime sectors, updating the competences of the employees in Logistics and Transportation, widening the logistics culture and mentality into the Transportation and Services for
transportation companies. Concerning the social context, CFL! are adopting all strategies and tools to reduce the percentage of NEET "Not (engaged) in Education, Employment or Training" into the Italian Regions Veneto and Marche.
FA-Magdeburg GmbH is a private German training company located in Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt. As a continuous education provider, we are committed from the beginning of our establishment to ensure the exchange of practical knowledge and skills according to advanced technical developments and market requirements.
The many years of success teaching activities for different target groups, especially for employees of state government and employees in industry and government, has helped to make our training center active in the market.
The focus of our activities is the improvement of knowledge and skills in the practical handling of the PC technology, operating systems, networks, Internet, media development, office communication equipment and user programs in office administration and management. We have expertise in virtual classroom usage, e-learning and e-book development.
In this context, we are always trying to adapt to all the needs of our customers and also to respond to individual inquiries. We consider that even the issues and problems of the trainees outside the training sessions may be resolved at the workplace of the respective participant.
In the development and delivery of our modular training programs, we have several year experiences in the education of adults in Saxony-Anhalt.
The course contents are aimed at further professional qualification and are divided in basic courses, advanced courses and workshops. Our staff are trainers or specialists with high educational training and have appropriate "Microsoft Trainer Certificates."
Since 1991, our biggest clients include the government of Saxony-Anhalt. We ensure customer training about 150 to 200 days a year.
In addition, we provide training on behalf of the German Foundation for International Development for the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation since 7 years to foreign trainees in various professions, as IT professionals, media designers, project management. We have experience in ESF projects and international cooperation.
Since 2013, FA-Magdeburg is partner in the EURO-net network.
Edremit vocational education center
Edremit vocational education center is a public institution which has been active since 1976 in one of the district of Balikeshir, in the western part of Turkey . Our center offers formal and non-formal vocational education opportunities for young adults.
In the institution there are cultural and social courses as well as vocational courses. We teach and train more than 700 students in 16
different departments, with majors in Motor vehicles technology, metal technology, beauty and haircare, wood technology. We also offer apprenticeship, journeyman (headworker), mastership (craftsmanship) to young people so that they can get jobs and/or they can eventually open their own businesses after graduation. These courses are given to all adults according to their interests, wishes, needs and talents to provide their social, cultural or economic improvements with the purpose of upskilling their talents and abilities. At the end of each course, the students are granted diplomas and/or certificates.
Our students belong to vulnerable social environment, live in countryside or in a small county, aspects that cause disadvantages for them improve themselves in terms of educational, social, cultural and economic fields. Most of them have low education level because of the financial problems in their childhoods. Our trainees include young Roma migrants, who are uneducated and participate heavily into our courses. All in all, we train students coming from disadvantaged social and economic backgrounds and any activity that triggers improving skills enhances their chances to find job.
School No. 2 in Sanok
School No. 2 in Sanok was founded June 6, 1946 and began its operations on 1 September 1946. Currently, there are three schools:
Technical School No. 2, Vocational School No. 2 and Ill High School. For school year 2014/2015 school year 423 students attend the school.
Technical School No. 2 is a 4 year post-secondary school, which entitles you to submit the completion of the exam of maturity and professional qualification examination. Graduates of the school are prepared to practice the technique. Acquire theoretical knowledge while studying in our school, and practical at the Regional Centre for the Development of Education in Sanok and mechanical companies, telecommunication and electronic as well as in garages during the 4-week professional practices.
Professional practice is carried on by vocational training programs established by the teachers of vocational training, according to the new core curriculum of vocational training . The program of professional practice in the academic year 2014/2015 takes into account both the provisions of the core curriculum and suggestions employers local labor market.
The No. 2 Technical educated youth in the competition: automotive technician, mechanic technician, technician telecommunications and data communications technician. Training young people in the automotive and mechanical profile has been conducted in the school since the 1951/1952 school year.
Students attending to our school come from Sanok as well as from nearby villages situated in the area of the Bieszczady Mountains.
he region is considered to be one of the poorest areas of Poland with a rate of unemployment of about 22%. In last year fewer students decide to continue their education after secondary school, and even not all of them take the exams. The primary cause of failures is lack of students' motivation for learning and lack of faith in their abilities. To change this situation, we would like to develop those strategic partnerships in order to enhance education strategy, whose main aim is to increase students' motivation to develop knowledge and improve and gain new skills, increase their chances on European and national labor markets and to enhance quality and attractiveness of education in our school and region.

The Employment Service of the Andalusian Regional Government has awarded Inercia Digital with the recognition of Collaborative Entity in Training for Employment in the discipline of e-learning.
